What this is
The Laser MPE Calculator estimates irradiance, beam divergence and beam spread for comparison with Maximum Permissible Exposure values.
Accuracy and reliance
Results are estimates for planning and education only. They are not a laser safety assessment and are no substitute for a qualified Laser Safety Officer, the relevant standards (such as AS/NZS IEC 60825) or your regulator's requirements. Check every figure independently before relying on it, particularly where people or aircraft could be exposed.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service, attempt to break or overload it, or use it to harm others or break the law.
